History
The Meroni family winery is located in one of the five municipalities of the Valpolicella Classico region, more specifically in the town of Sant'Ambrogio, which is 18 km away from the beautiful city of Verona.
The company covers 15 hectares of freehold properties, which at present 11 hectares are vineyards and the remaining 4 hectares are currently covered with olive trees and woods for the respect of the natural balance of the valley. One of the farms belonging to the Meroni family was mentioned in a cartographic document dated 1706.
Since 1935 the familly Meroni uses only grapes from Sengia and Maso farm to make their wines.
Winemaking
This wine is a blend made of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. A "baby Amarone" fine and elegant.
Natural dryng of the grapes for 30-35 days. Fermentation in steel tank and maturation in small 20-25 hl oak barrels from Slavonia for 3 year. Refining in bottle for 6 months.

Red garnet color.
Nose
Fresh and fruity with fragrance of wild berries.
Palate
Dry, velvety, well balanced with a plummy and sour cherry aftertaste.
